Our new National Flower Pendant Necklace collection takes seven of these flowers and turns them into hand-drawn line art, engraved onto an oval pendant that's elegant enough for everyday wear but meaningful enough to matter. Kanikonna : Kerala
The Kanikonna, or golden shower flower, is Kerala's state flower and one of its most recognisable symbols. Its bright yellow blossoms burst open every spring, timed almost perfectly with Vishu, the Malayali New Year, when the flower is arranged in front of the household shrine as the first thing people see on the morning of the festival, a symbol of good fortune and new beginnings. Our engraved Kanikonna necklace draws on that same idea of a fresh start, worn as a small, everyday reminder of Kerala.
Marigold : Gujarat
Marigold is Gujarat's state flower and arguably South Asia's most festive one, strung into garlands for Diwali, Navratri, weddings, and temple offerings across the region. Its warm orange and yellow petals are associated with auspiciousness, celebration, and welcome, it's often the first thing hung on a doorway to mark a special occasion. The Marigold pendant brings that same sense of warmth and celebration into a piece you can wear well beyond festival season.
Chinar Leaf : Jammu & Kashmir
Not every pendant in this collection is a flower, the Chinar leaf represents Jammu & Kashmir, and it's just as iconic. Chinar trees line the valleys and gardens of Kashmir, and their maple-like leaves turn a deep, fiery red every autumn, a seasonal transformation so striking it's become shorthand for Kashmiri identity and heritage itself. Sarson : Punjab
Sarson, or mustard flower, is the flower most associated with Punjab, best known for the endless yellow fields that bloom across the region every spring. It's tied closely to Baisakhi, the harvest festival, and to the idea of abundance, renewal, and hard-earned prosperity after a season of work in the fields. The Sarson pendant is a small tribute to that landscape, and to the resilience it represents.
Gloriosa Lily : Tamil Nadu
The Gloriosa lily is Tamil Nadu's state flower, and it looks the part, its petals curl and flame outward in vivid red and orange, giving it the nickname "flame lily." It grows wild across the state and has long been associated with passion, intensity, and beauty that doesn't ask to be understated. White Water Lily : Bangladesh
The white water lily, known locally as Shapla, is Bangladesh's national flower and one of its most enduring national symbols, it even appears on the country's national emblem.
