What's the difference between this brooch and the Stethoscope Name Necklace?

Both feature the same stethoscope design with a personalised name engraved in your chosen language, but they serve slightly different purposes. The brooch pins directly onto clothing, a graduation gown, a uniform, a scrub top, making it a wearable name badge that doubles as jewellery. The necklace is worn as a chain piece. Many customers buy both as a set, especially as a graduation gift. If you're unsure which to choose, the brooch is ideal for wearing at work or on the graduation day itself, while the necklace is more of an everyday wear piece.

Can I have my name engraved in a South Asian language?

Yes, this is one of the things ArtByZakia does best. We engrave in any language and script, including Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi (Gurmukhi), Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, and more. At checkout, leave your name in the script you'd like, we recommend including the English version too (e.g. زكية, Zakia) to avoid any confusion. How do I wear the brooch, what does it pin onto?

The brooch has a standard pin-back clasp on the reverse, the same mechanism as a regular lapel pin or badge. It pins securely onto fabric, graduation gowns, blazers, scrub tops, uniforms, and cardigans all work well. It's not suitable for very thin or delicate fabrics where the pin might create a hole. For graduation day wear, most people pin it onto the chest or lapel area of their gown.

How long will it take to arrive, I need it for a graduation ceremony?

The brooch is engraved and dispatched within 10 working days. Once dispatched, UK delivery takes 2–5 working days (free on orders over £50). If you have a specific ceremony date, we'd strongly recommend ordering at least 3 weeks in advance to allow production and delivery time comfortably. If you're cutting it close, email us at hello@artbyzakia.com before ordering and we'll tell you if we can meet your date, we always try our best.

Can I order this as part of a gift set with the matching necklace?

Both pieces can be purchased separately and they make a popular gift set, particularly from parents, partners, or group gifts.
