A law degree is not something that happens to you. It is something you fight for, consistently, over years, through everything else life is asking of you at the same time. Case studies, mock trials, placements, deadlines that felt impossible, sacrifices that only the people closest to you fully saw. When a law graduate finally crosses that finish line, the people around them feel the weight of it almost as much as they do. A card was never going to be enough. Something permanent, something personal, something built around the name of the person who earned it, that's what this moment calls for.

The name inside the design

The Law Scales Name Necklace is a custom, bespoke piece, and what makes it different to every other scales of justice necklace that exists is where the name sits. It doesn't engrave onto a bar underneath the scales or stamp onto the back of the pendant. It runs through the centre column of the scales themselves, in flowing script, forming the vertical stem that holds the whole design together. Remove the name and the scales fall. The name is structural. The person and the profession are inseparable, and the piece was designed to say exactly that.

Every single piece is made individually to order around the specific name submitted at checkout. Your name, in your language, in your script, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, English or any other. A name in Arabic calligraphy running through the scales of justice is something that has never existed before yours is made and will never exist again in exactly that form. That is what bespoke means. That is why it takes 20–30 working days to produce.

Designed to wear, not to display

The design intention behind this piece was deliberate. The scales are fine and delicate, the chain is a fine trace chain, the name runs through in flowing script rather than being stamped in block capitals. The achievement behind it is heavy. The piece wears lightly. Those two things existing together is exactly the point, something a law graduate puts on in the morning without thinking about it, the way a doctor wears a stethoscope. Not a trophy for a shelf. Something that simply belongs to who they are now.

Available in 18ct gold plating, polished silver stainless steel or real rose gold plating on a fine trace chain in 45cm, 50cm or 55cm. Waterproof, tarnish-resistant and hypoallergenic, made for every long day at a desk, in a courtroom, at a client meeting, at every milestone in a legal career that is only just beginning. Orders placed between 1 May and 31 July 2026 come in our exclusive graduation cap gift box, the lid shaped like a graduation cap, ready to give.

For everyone who fought for it

For the barrister called to the bar after years of studying. For the solicitor who just signed her training contract. For the first in the family to qualify in law. For the one who worked nights to fund it and did it anyway. This piece was made for the name in the centre of those scales, proof that the fight was worth it.
