The story behind this piece

This one sits slightly differently to the other pieces in the collection. It's more like a wearable name badge than a piece of jewellery, but a name badge made from gold-plated stainless steel with a stone on it. I wanted something that a doctor or nurse could pin to their white coat and have it function as identification while also being something they actually wanted to wear. Adding the birthstone meant that even two people with the same name and the same career would have something slightly different, something that was made for them specifically and nobody else.

This brooch brings together everything that makes a personalised gift truly personal, a design that speaks to the career, a name engraved in any language and any script, and a birthstone colour chosen specifically for the person wearing it. No two are ever quite the same.

The design features a stethoscope and syringe sitting either side of a wide engraved bar, generous enough for a title and a full name, a qualification year, a short message or a dedication. A small stone sits at the end of the stethoscope in your chosen colour, one for every birth month, adding a personal detail that goes beyond the engraving and makes the piece entirely specific to one person.

Engrave it as a name badge. Dr. [Name]. Nurse [Name]. Pharmacist [Name]. A title and a surname, a name and a year, or a message from the people who are most proud. The bar is wide enough for all of it.

Once production is complete and order is dispatched, estimated delivery times are:

• UK : 2–5 working days (free on orders over £50, otherwise from £2.99)
• International : 5–10 working days after dispatch (from £11.99, depending on delivery address)
